Christmas @ Dixie

Blog Home » Christmas @ Dixie

It’s less than 2 weeks until Santa comes (as long as you’re on the nice list!) and Christmas at Dixie is in full flow and getting very exciting.

Christmas this year is different for all children but we’re still having lots of festive fun. Mrs Jarvis has taught every year in the school a different Christmas song and the Makaton signs to go with it. We’re all excited to share the final recording with our families and have a laugh!

As Head boy and Head girl we got to record our Church readings along with 2 children from Years 1 to 4. We are also looking forward to watching this video.

Other fun activities that are planned are Christmas parties, Christmas lunch, an online Pantomine, fun ICT freetime, Forest School activities and we hear Mr V even has snowball fights planned in PE.

Instead of sharing cards and gifts with our friends, we are all donating money towards class charities. One of our classmates Henry even ran a half marathon to support Stand Up To Cancer (Year 5’s class charity.)

Go Henry!

We are missing our Reception buddies and wish them and all a Happy Christmas!

The post cover photo is of us in Reception at our Nativity!!
